BACKGROUND
Leading Edge Safety Systems was requested to develop a non-academic and practical ‘how to’ guide for aviation service providers to implement a Safety Management System (SMS) consistent with both ICAO and CASA legislative requirements. A high quality six part series of resource booklets and interactive DVD case studies was produced.
THE RESULT
The educational material now forms part of CASA’s official guidance provided to industry and is used extensively not only within Australia, but abroad to assist aviation service providers in implementing Safety Management Systems.
